A “Squeeze Page” is a style of landing page intended to “squeeze” the user into accomplishing a goal (form submission, phone call, whitepaper download). Typically, squeeze pages have little or no navigation as to force the user to either 1) Convert (the ideal situation) OR 2) Leave the website (not optimal).
Uses for Squeeze Pages
- Capture a users email address in exchange for something (free whitepaper, coupon, etc.)
- Convince a user to make a phone call
- Capture “foot in the door” information to get a user committed at a small level to working toward a full conversion.
